E&E Gathers & Graze
Cancellation & date changes
How to request a cancellation or change
Send written notice to the email address or phone number on your order confirmation, identifying the customer, order number, and event date. The request is recorded upon receipt; E&E confirms receipt. All deadlines are calculated in Houston local time.
Cancellation by the customer
The deposit is a payment toward the order and is not automatically forfeited. Only services already performed and reasonable, documented, nonrecoverable costs directly related to the order are deducted, up to the contracted total. Costs are avoided or recovered where possible, and the same loss is not charged twice.
Depending on the progress of the order
Before purchases or preparation begin: payments are refunded less work actually performed and documented. After purchases or commitments: perishable ingredients, personalized materials, completed work, and noncancelable commitments may be deducted. Once prepared or delivered: the value of products already prepared in accordance with the order and services provided may be nonrefundable. The proximity of the event date alone does not trigger an automatic penalty.
Final accounting and refunds
E&E will send an itemized breakdown and process the refund of any excess within 10 business days of cancellation. Bank processing may take additional time. Any outstanding balance for documented costs is communicated with supporting documentation and does not exceed the contracted price. Any refund or cancellation rights required by law are respected.
Changing the date
Rescheduling may be requested with 7 calendar days’ notice, subject to availability and written agreement. The payment remaining after nonrecoverable costs is applied to the new date; any price differences must be accepted before confirmation. If no agreement is reached, the cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation by E&E and force majeure
If E&E cancels for a reason attributable to E&E, all payments for products or services not delivered or provided are refunded within 10 business days. In the event of a venue closure, dangerous weather, or another circumstance beyond reasonable control, notice is given immediately and rescheduling is sought. If rescheduling is not possible, only services already performed and documented nonrecoverable costs are retained; any excess is refunded. This does not limit rights arising from a breach of contract.
